This is my face chart I have designed for the make up of Estella. I have used very natural colours because the Victorians did not wear heavy make up and I need the design to be as historically realistic as possible. I will use my grease based Kryolan foundation on my model, the shade has not been decided yet as I currently do not have a model so I will need to pick a colour as close to their natural skin tone as possible to keep the make up looking fresh and natural. I will be using my Kryolan shading pallette for some light contouring to emphasise the cheek bones and also using the blush peach colour to brighten up the cheeks very subtly to give the skin a natural glow. I will be using a very small amount of the glamour tan shade to contour and define the eyes whilst still keeping the make up looking natural. LC142 lip shade will be used on the lips to give them a natural sheen with a slight hint of peach colouring. Finally I will use a black mascara very lightly to darken the lashes i will hopefully be able to apply this without looking like the model is wearing mascara.
Below are two more face charts I designed for the character of Estella using different drawing techniques and styles I am not ken on these face charts because I think they stray slightly from historical accuracy.
Below are two hair styles I designed for my creation of Estella the first is an all up style with a large bundle of curls sitting up on tp of the head running from the front to the back with plenty of large curls at the front of the head to give the style volume. at the rear of the head will be curls hanging down in a curled pony tail from between the pinned up curls to form columns of hanging curls. at the sides of the head will be 3 columns of hanging curls on either side of the head starting from above each ear.
The idea below is similar to the image above except all hair will be scraped back into a bundle of curls at the rear of the head i do not want any curls volume or hair dangling near the face as i want this style to be a more simple version of the idea before. again there will be a hanging ponytail like sections of curls dangling from in between the pinned up hair at the back. the reason i made this idea more simple is because I want the main focus to be on the make up.
